Manufacturer recommends to be used with 20 Vol cream developer.  Read and test a strand of hair or cuttings prior to attempting the entire process.  This will also allow you to gage your timing or to adjust if needed.  The BSO prioritizes maintaining the integrity of your hair and as such it is important to follow manufacturer instructions.  We also recommend ensuring you have mixed enough product; so please consider purchasing an extra packet.

RECOMMENDED MIXING:

For off-the-scalp application, mix 1 oz. of Color Charm Powder Lightener with 1.5 to 2oz of Wella Developer (20, 30 or 40 Vol) in a non-metallic bowl.

For on-the-scalp application, use only 20 Vol Crème Developer by mixing 1oz. of Color Charm Powder Lightener with 2 oz. Wella Crème Developer. Do not process for more than 50 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Never shampoo before lightening. Perform a strand test before complete application. Always wear gloves.

CAUTION: Do not use on eyelashes, eyebrows, facial hair or hair on other parts of the body. Do not use on hair in poor condition. Do not use in a metal mixing bowl. Do not permanently wave the hair immediately before or after lightening. Do not use if the scalp shows abrasions, scratches, or any other abnormal condition. Store in a cool, dry place.

Consider pairing with Wella Color Charm Toner to provide a nice even blonde, lightly neutralize your tone or eliminate string brass tones if you have not left the bleach process long enough.
